Golf-e Scorecard is a personal scorekeeping system designed from the ground up for the Apple Watch, but it works great with your iPhone. The app was created by former staffers at a regional golf association for serious golfers. Golf-e is not a GPS and complies with rules prohibiting distance measuring devices on the course. Using the Apple Watch, you can comply with local rules prohibiting the use of cell phones.
Golf-e accesses a database of over 13,000 United States golf clubs to generate a custom scorecard for every course and tee.
Designed be unobtrusive, you simply tap the app to indicate a stroke. Golf-e lets you provide detailed scoring information if you want to, recording information about your lie, position, and club with each tap. You can tap as you play, tap quickly as you complete each hole, or even enter scores at the end of the round.
Golf-e maintains your completed round information in a local database, and stores your rounds in the cloud for long term analysis and future access.
Before your round, Golf-e is a great tool to discover new golf opportunities. It uses the location services from your phone to give you instant information about the nearest clubs and courses, wherever you are in the US.
Golf-e currently only supports courses in the United States.
